after he was brutally killed in the city of Cali in
March 16, 2002, where he was acting as Archbishop of the
city. The main purpose of the Foundation is to continue
Monsignor Duarte’s vision and work dedicated to respond
to locally defined problems related to the defence of
human life, peace and education in Colombia.
